Tato kniha je doplňkem k odnoži Battletechu zvané Alpha Strike. Nabízí informace o opravdu obrovském množství žolnéřských uskupení. Ke každému udává kompozici jednotek, přátele/nepřátele, hratelné velitele/hrdiny a speciální schopnosti, které reflektují charakter dané jednotky. Oproti Alpha Strike: Companionu několik abilit a vlastností přibylo. Narozdíl od většiny klasických BT sourcebooků je tato příručka celobarevná! Kniha v době objednání nebyla spolu s CM: Kurita a First Succession War v nabídce fantasyobchodu. Ten mi je však na požádání promptně sehnal, proto bych chtěl tímto fantasyobchodu poděkovat.
